FAQ's about Reflexology

Where will my session take place?

Your session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music may be played to help you relax. You will lie on a table especially designed for your comfort.

Must I be completely undressed for my treatment?

No. All Reflexology and Reiki treatments are traditionally performed with the client fully dressed. You should wear comfortable clothing.

How long will the session last?

The average sessions lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes. A half-hour appointment only allows time for a partial Reflexology or Reiki  session. Always allow relaxation time prior to and after the session.

Are there any medical conditions that would make treatment inadvisable?

Yes. That’s why it’s imperative that, before you begin your session, the therapist asks general health questions based on the Intake Form you have completed. If you are under a doctor’s care, it is strongly advised that you receive a written recommendation prior to any sessions. Your therapist may require a recommendation or approval from your doctor.

Does Reflexology hurt?

Reflexology will often hurt when the congested reflex areas are treated.  It no way resembles a foot massage. As the condition improves with several reflexology sessions, so will the soreness on the corresponding reflexes. ... The well-trained reflexologist will adapt his/her pressure to the pain levels of the patient.

Are appointments required?

It is recommended that you schedule an appointment.
